After the unveiling of a new logo in Singapore, Visit Sarawak campaign is in full swing for 2019.
Fun, friendly, and vibrant—Sarawak Tourism Board’s Visit Sarawak campaign emanate the qualities of the people and places in this diverse island.
The campaign set off in style last October in Singapore with Malaysia’s top tourism names unveiling of the new logo. Its tagline, “More to Discover,” underscores the campaign’s strategy of highlighting the island’s plethora of Culture, Adventure, Nature, Food, and Festival Attractions (CANFF).
Newly-minted Sarawak Tourism Board CEO Sharzede Datu HJ Salleh Askor mentioned that the official launch of the Visit Sarawak Campaign will happen at the Kuching Waterfront, Sarawak during the New Year Eve’s celebration on 31 December 31, 2018/January 1, 2019.
Campaign in full swing
For 2019, tourists can look forward to seeing more of Sarawak on digital platforms and mobile apps. Sarawak Assistant Minister of Tourism, Arts & Culture Datuk Lee Kim Shin said that the campaign envisions Sarawak to be one of the preferred tourist destinations in Southeast Asia.
This includes offering exciting online travel packages with competitively priced offerings. Moreover, the Sarawak Tourism Board will emphasize on working with airline partners to increase air connectivity from hubs like Singapore.
There are several new international routes being planned and expected to start operating by next year.

The Visit Sarawak campaign anchors on the culture, adventure, nature, food, and festival experiences in and around the island. As the largest state in Malaysia, Sarawak is branded as an exciting attraction waiting to be explored.
Local communities welcome tourists whole-heartedly to share their cultures and lifestyles.
